Training for Inhouse collections or credit control
If your company operates in-house collections or credit control it would be beneficially for your staff to receive either on-site legal training or via Zoom, which will assist your company by improving cash flow and limit expenditure. The effective collection of debts is a critical part of any business, especially within the current economic climate.
We have developed streamlined procedures for advice, with the option of online contact and email updates for maximum efficiency. We understand the necessity to maintain a healthy cash flow, whilst maintaining good working relationships with your clients and our processes and fees are aligned to this goal.
We offer competitive Fixed Fees for the recovery of your debts, providing you with a swift and economical service. Above all, we are completely commercial in our approach and recognise that our clients expect to spend money on debt recovery only to be financially worse off. The relationships we build with our clients in this field are critical and allow for a flexible and understanding attitude securing the best possible commercial outcome for you.
Understanding you and your business will lead to an effective professional working relationship between us. We are aware that not everyone requires the same service, so we will always look to tailor our service to the specific requirements of your business and your Client / Customer.
When dealing with volume business clients, we prefer to gain an understanding of your objectives and can then develop both a workflow and a pricing structure that suits.
The training we provide, is aimed at Credit Controllers, Paralegals and Administrative staff to enhance their understanding of the debt recovery process, and provide a more efficient method of Credit Control.
The training can be instrumental in improving cash flow for your company, by training your staff how to spot potential issues with your Client’s / Customers and how to put preventative measures in place to avoid the necessity of the debt recovery process at a later stage.
We will also provide samples of our facilitator letters, which will assist in the speedy recovery of unpaid sums, whilst still maintaining a healthy working relationship with the defaulting Client / Customer. These letters can also include additional costs which can be claimed from the defaulting Client / Customer, by referring to specific clauses within your Terms & Conditions of Business and the legislation which we intend to rely on.
If your defaulting Client / Customer is still refusing payment at this stage, we can assist you with the initial debt recovery process. With over 25 years’ experience in Debt Recovery, we will be able to provide you with the requisite training to manage any disputes your client may raise, and to ensure you are the Client’s / Customers preferential creditor.
Once the debt recovery process begins it is essential that you comply with the Pre-Action Protocol for Debt Claims, which came into force on 1st October 2017. Not only will the training provide you with the skills required to ensure compliance, we will provide you with templates of our compliant Letter of Claim and tailor the letter to your requirements, whilst still ensuring it remains compliant with the Protocol.
In addition to providing you with tailored template letters, we will provide you with examples of our workflows, as the debt recovery process is more in-depth than just sending letters. The workflows will show you the effectiveness of using phone calls, emails, and text messages to assist in the debt recovery process. It will also evidence the most effective timing for utilising each correspondence method.
In addition, we will provide ongoing support to you for any concerns or queries you have in the future. We are also able to offer refresher training, to ensure all your staff are aware and updated on any procedural or legislative changes to the debt recovery process, ensuring your company is always working at maximum efficiency.
