Trace and Collect

Lost contact with a Customer / Debtor?

Full interact tracing service is provided by DebtLaw uk whether as part of any of our processes or on an individual basis.

If your business has lost contact with a Customer / Debtor or you have returned mail or are advised that the debtor has “gone away”, we can trace and confirm a person’s details. We have invested in the most up to date tracing technology. This system provides access to real time database, together with our ability to derive credit link and activity information without leaving an electronic footprint. This allows us to locate a Customer/ Debtor new whereabouts quickly and proceed with collecting the Debt owed.

This can be completed quickly and efficiently, ensuring we can pursue a debtor at a new address and in turn commence or recommence our collections process with immediate effect.

We utilise niche desktop tracing to match results across each data source. Logic based processing enables us to apply high degrees of automation to data tracing and investigation, including a radius search to find an individual who has moved within a specified distance of their current address.

We can data cleanse your information identifying if a mobile telephone number or landline is active and locate email addresses as well as obtaining any new landline and / or mobile numbers.

If you do not have a “last-known address” and only have a telephone number or email address but no address, then in these circumstances we can conduct a reverse search to trace the associated name and address (even partial email addresses can be used). The platform also provides access to consented telephone data so you can be sure the new landline is in the correct surname which you are checking, including cohabitee information on people who may be connected to the person being pursued.

In addition to the above, we also have a panel of trusted Trace Enquiry Agents / Process Servers who provide a Tracing Service. We would charge a minimal Fixed Fee + VAT (per name) for setting up the Trace Instruction and they only charge a Fee if a “Positive Trace” is obtained.

All our processes follow the guidelines set by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and are fully compliant with the Data Protection Act (DPA) and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
